Athena was the beloved daughter of Zeus. Her mother was Metis, the first wife of Zeus. Zeus after a prophecy learned that Metis would give birth to a child, who would take power from him. To avoid this, Zeus swallowed the mother while she was pregnant with Athena. After a few months Jupiter began to suffer from headaches and called Hephaestus to help him. Hepheastion opened the head of Zeus and from inside the goddess Athena was thrown in armor, with a helmet and a shield.
