Cities flourish and prosper - but their wealth catches the eye of the barbarians. Wild hordes threaten the island. Within a short time an army of knights will have to be created to ward off the powerful barbarians. Woe to the cities that the Knights will not protect! Those who fight the barbarians will earn victory points, but those who do not contribute to the defense will see their cities plundered. You must always find the balance between personal gain and the common good. You will make it; Or, paraphrasing the poet, you will scream:
"And now what about the barbarians?"
This extension is not a standalone game! You need the 'Catacombs' to play!
This extension is compatible with the Catan Apocalypse with plastic pawns. Not fully compatible with the wooden pawn version.
