Two Greek Fighters of 1821, the Greek Chief and the Greek Captainess, are depicted with PLAYMOBIL figures and pay tribute to the 200 years since the Greek Revolution, within the institution PLAYMOBIL play & give. The social program PLAYMOBIL play & give, offers joy and support to thousands of children all over Greece. As every year, part of the proceeds will be used to support the goals of the "VISION OF HOPE" Association. Anniversary collection for the two hundred years of the Greek Revolution On the front of the box is a detail from the lithograph: "View of Athens: Colonel Favieros, head of the Greek army, defends the outskirts of the city" Paris, 1827. Collection of the National Historical Museum - Athens PLAYMOBIL papyrus included in the package, the first two verses from the revolutionary song "Thourios" by Rigas Velestinlis appear, which was first published in 1797 and was distributed throughout the Turkish-occupied Hellenism. The captain holds the flag of Spetses, the first Greek island to join the Revolution of 1821.
